2026 Sustainable Brand Leader

Every year, Green Builder, a building-design publication that covers sustainable construction and building products, publishes its Sustainable Brand Index. But it’s not just another ranking…it’s a data-driven, real-world measurement of how brands perform in sustainability perception, consumer trust and industry influence.

The index is divided up by building product category, from roofing to building wrap to decking. Each category includes a list of finalists, who, according to Green Builder “continue to lead the way toward sustainability through their actions.”

For the past seven years, Therma-Tru has scored the top leader spot in Green Builder’s “door” category. But this year, Simpson took over that coveted #1 spot to be named Green Builder Media’s 2026 Sustainable Brand Leader. We are honored to take home this designation and we are proud to create beautiful custom wood doors with the quality our customers have depended on for decades. That pride also takes shape in our commitment to natural resources and the environment.
