The first edition from the collection, entitled "Designs on Nature," is from glass artist Mark Olson and includes original glass designs inspired by colorful botanicals, rugged beaches, and ocean waves. The Designs on Nature theme is offered in full-lite exterior French doors, as well as doors that incorporate flat and raised panels.
"Simpson is proud to partner with talented artists to bring our customers unique door options," says Brad Loveless, marketing manager for Simpson. "The Artist Collection brings a novel touch to our long-standing quality craftsmanship and original designs that not only enhance a variety of architectural styles, but also truly distinguish homes."
A portion of the proceeds from each Simpson Artist Collection door sold will go directly to the International Child Art Foundation (ICAF) to help fund their education programs and events. The ICAF aims to use art as a catalyst to nurture childrens' innate creativity and cultivate their intrinsic empathy.
