Simpson Introduces ViewSaver® Technology
Improved Construction Process for True-Divided Lite Doors
|
MCCLEARY, Wash. - Simpson Door Company is pleased to introduce ViewSaver Technology, a patented, new construction process for all Simpson true-divided lite (TDL) doors. The new process combines a sleek 1-3/8" profile bar design with ¾" thick insulated glass, resulting in an energy efficient door with maximum viewing area. The new bar is kerfed at all wood-to-wood joints, and in combination with a sealing compound, it provides a barrier against water infiltration. Other featured elements include 1-7/16" thick Innerbond® panels for all panel doors and a Performance Series® option for maximum weather resistance. ViewSaver-constructed TDL doors come standard in Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock and American Red Oak, or they may be special ordered in a variety of wood species and dozens of glazing options. Builders and architects can choose from classic French and sash designs or create a more intricate design through Simpson's custom door facility. Simpson has been handcrafting some of America's finest wood doors since 1912. The company offers a complete line of exterior and interior stile and rail doors in a variety of wood species.
