Simpson's Prairiefield Heads for the Frontier of Design
Perhaps nothing is more symbolic of the American heartland than amber waves of grain. Simpson Door Company's new Prairiefield design captures that spirit with a classic style that has been updated for contemporary homes.
Best described as a full-light, lead glass door, the Prairiefield features geometric representations of wheat stalks patterned in its glass. Square and rectangular shaped pieces of glass form the perimeter of the door's insert. Brass caming adds sophistication and beauty. The entire insert is triple glazed for maximum efficiency and minimum maintenance.
Framed in either Douglas fir or Western hemlock, the Prairiefield is available in widths of 3'0" and 3'6", and heights of 6'8", 7'0" and 8'0". The 8'0" version features a raised wood panel below the insert. Matching sidelights make the Prairiefield an excellent choice for a complete entry statement.
