Simpson Door Company Introduces Encore® Doors
MCCLEARY, Wash. - Simpson Door Company introduces a new interior door line that features raised panels and extreme design flexibility. Encore® Doors are constructed of laminated fiberboard surrounded by softwood stiles and rails. The wood edge strips enable maximum screw holding power and no extra work is necessary for hanging.
CNC computer-driven routing equipment is used to carve the traditional molding profiles into each door. Lighter than competing MDF doors, Encore's single panel construction ensures no possibility of stile and rail separation. The doors are sanded using a state-of-the-art system and then primed at the factory and ready to paint.
Encore Doors are available in 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" thicknesses and can be specified as 20-minute fire doors. Simpson offers 54 standard Encore designs in a variety of heights and widths and computer-driven routing equipment allows unlimited custom design possibilities. Customers can simply submit their desired designs to the engineering lab for review.
