Simpson Adds Interior Door Designs to Extend
Architectural Continuity Throughout the Home
New interior designs match exterior doors
MCCLEARY, Wash. - Simpson Door Company is pleased to announce a new line of Interior Decorative French Doors to satisfy the growing demand for architectural continuity throughout the home. Customers can now match exterior doors with interior door designs.
"We've seen the demand for architectural consistency grow rapidly in the last two years," says Jim Brandt, marketing manager for Simpson Door Company. "We've always taken pride in being able to offer any door in any species, and now we can offer matching designs for both exterior and interior applications."
The expansion adds 12 new, full-lite decorative glass designs made of Douglas fir or Western Hemlock. The new stile and rail doors are constructed with engineered components and incorporate square sticking that mimics classic Shaker styling. The new designs are available with a choice of six unique inserts made of 5/8" thick, triple-glazed, insulated decorative glass. Each option is available with black, silver or brass caming.
"The popularity of decorative glass continues to grow," says Brandt, "and these six styles have been among the most popular for exterior doors."
Simpson is also adding the same 12 designs to its collection of Redi-Primeā doors along with 22 other Single-Glazed French Interior Door designs already available in a number of standard wood species. The expansion nearly doubles the number of Redi-Prime designs now available, making it one of the industry's most complete selections of interior primed doors. All value-priced Redi-Prime doors are primed at the factory and delivered ready to paint.
All of Simpson's Interior Decorative French Doors are 1-3/8" thick and come in standard widths of 2'0", 2'4", 2'6", 2'8" and 3'0". Standard heights include 6'8", 7'0" and 8'0".
Simpson has been handcrafting some of America's finest wood doors since Henry McCleary first started his small wood door company in 1912. Today, the company offers a comprehensive line of exterior and interior stile and rail doors in a variety of wood species and produces one-of-a-kind doors at its new Custom Door Manufacturing Facility. It's strong tradition and current capabilities allow Simpson to create doors that are truly doors of a lifetime.
