The Chateau Michelle: Simpson's Popular Series Continues
Simpson Door Company's industry leading Chateau series of interior and exterior doors now offers the Chateau Michelle entry door and matching sidelights which provide a stately, traditional entrance to any home.
The Chateau Michelle features the characteristic carved scroll on the lock rail and the curved upper molding (the "eyebrows") that have become widely recognized hallmarks of the Chateau series. Triple glazed inserts in both door and sidelights contain beveled, leaded glass in a strong geometric pattern. Like all beveled and cut glass offered by Simpson, the Chateau Michelle glass sparkles brilliantly in sunlight, casting rainbow colors of refracted light about the interior of any entry.
The Chateau Michelle is crafted from select, vertical grain Douglas fir or Western hemlock and features raised molding on both sides. Standard widths range from 2'6" to 3'6" and heights are 6'8", 7'0" and 8'0". The split-proof laminated panels on the Chateau Michelle feature Simpson's warranted Innerbond® construction. The 5-5/16" stiles accommodate a broad range of hardware.
