Simpson® Bungalow Series™ Doors Newest of Classically Styled Additions to Simpson Door Product Line
MCCLEARY, Wash. - Simpson Door Company has added a new collection of exterior doors to its standard door offerings. The Bungalow Series™ is the newest addition to a product line that has seen a number of traditional designs added in the last three years. "Homeowners want doors that truly represent 'home.' So many door styles over the years have been either cookie-cutter designs or reflect trends that come and go quickly. We are developing new designs from architectural styles that have remained popular over many generations. The Bungalow Series' most defining characteristic is a 1-7/16" beaded v-groove Innerbond® double hip-raised panel. This panel displays the elegant style of wainscoting with the robustness of an engineered component that will not warp, shrink or split. The doors are offered in multiple sash and panel door designs and configurations. All Bungalow sash doors feature Simpson's patented ViewSaver™ technology, combining ¾" insulated glazing with a sleek bar profile, creating a door of maximum energy efficiency and traditional true divided lite styling.
Bungalow Series doors are offered in Douglas Fir, Western Hemlock, American Red Oak, and can be crafted in nearly unlimited wood species at Simpson's new Custom Door Facility. Standard sizes include widths from 2'6" to 3'6" and heights of 6'8", 7'0" and 8'0".
